A city with historic artisty

There are many sections of the city that have amazing artistry in craftsmanship in home design of the past, The Highland Area is filled with beautiful scenic homes, that flow into the downtown district.

WE as a city can reach a level of un matched prominience in the northwest of Louisiana. WE must see the vision of what we have , and know it's value. Areas that are pure picturesque, are let to go without showing it's true brilliance.

We can have code enforcment to have people clean the front lawn in the sections that make an eye sore when traversing ( parts) of this area. AReas can be targeted for low % funding for repainting and other refurbishing needs, and thus make this section again show the cultural grace of the community that is.

When we Look about Shreveport, and look at the Historic churches of the 1950 and 1960- many of the large ones have attached community centers. The location of Church and homes are such a graceful arrangment. Tere are many building that predate the 1950 that present amazing design features, left abandon and unkept. The beauty that is Shreveport just needs to be seen for what it is.. and it can become a River city Dream not just in the boardwalk and Casino's, or the sections that retained it's prominence.. but blend it's sections to show it's reall grace..
of Southern Comfort and an elegance of style.

Shreveport....The City of Tomorrows Dreams.
