"Denied- Ignored - and Ultimately- treated Poorly"

I care about "us", as the people who make up what is America- and we as, American's certainly deserve to be 'each respected as individuals". It is our only pathway to the salvation within our living arrangement as a community of citizens, and people who care to make life better and consider one another. God knows, we have enough challenges, without adding other forms of discriminations within our lives. it is hopeful any who read this, get the gist of meaning, simply to know.. 'we must find ways to engage to consider each other, respectfully, as individual. We all simply want to live a life and engage the opportunity, without bias of any sort.

"Denied- Ignored - and Ultimately- treated Poorly"

We have a City, a State and a Nation, with a population that is heavy in volume of people over "50" - We have these seemingly mis-guided people put in places to do the hiring of people, who look at age with a discriminating mentality. We have these yuppie types who have invaded Human Resource department, with mandates, which diminish the quality of lives through these means of denial of opportunity, based on wrong way biases of a wide assortment. It is becoming more apparant daily, some who occupy these position are individuals, who have forgotten that this is America, and each person should be given consideration without discrimination against Age or any other factor, nor have their lives denied and turned upside down, by unreal criteria and other subjugation, based on challenges un-realted to their ability to perform available jobs. We need to stand up and put a stop to this kind of madness.

America is being destroyed by its own process of trying to make real life match TV imagery, and the result is; it disrespect people, unjustly deny people, and with full acts of disregard, it has caused a system that ignores people. No person is proud of a poor credit rating, nor are people proud about the inability to meet their debt obligations. We can't treat people as being without a sense of responsibility, when they have limited opportunity, and a employment arena that has diminished and reduced wages, and taken benefit, and left many, not only unable to pay their bill, many people have been made homeless as a result of these conditions. They certainly do not need to be denied opportunity, based on a credit report, and other forms and acts of bias.

We have far too many people, who have reached the age past 50, they should not be disregarded, denied, and pushed to the side. Our whole nation is seeing a mass of people, who have to not only rebuild their lives, but many are forced to start over, at the age of 50+, and for employers and HR people, to have a mindset to discriminate against people over age 50, is worst than being un-american, it is a form of bigotry that insults, the very nature of what is America, and what it means to be an American.

Much of the Laid off and unemployed work force consist of people, over 50, whom many have worked many years, at some of the business that no longer exist. They are in as much need as anyone else for employment. We see over and over, the criteria, claiming a Bachelor's degree is needed. How can you denote a job and what it entails being based on a degree- when many responsibilities of the jobs, require basic common sense, and in some cases simply related experience, or the basic ability to follow instruction; and no job hires anyone without first having to train them, on how they want things done. This chase of a Degree has been a denial to many people, when the same job will hire a person with a degree, that has a degree, which is totally "UNRELATED", to any duties the job requires.

Our system has turned this degree chase into a madness, which basically implies, a degree to be nothing more than a "paid for - certificate for employment access". Education was never designed to be made into a circus in such ways.

Education is to provide information to afford people simply to be informed and share that information to improve the community of humanity. We have turned it into a status game, and one which discredits American people., and is worn like a false crown, as if we have become consumed in Idolatry

All over this Region, people who have many many levels of gained information, learned knowledge from doing a variety of jobs, and many have great skills and great character as individuals. Yet they are being denied opportunity, for the sake of a certificate, even being claim as necessary, for a non technical, non medical, and other jobs, which are simply common sense work, that basically requires the general nature of communicating effectively.

Many people are out in the market looking for work, and many people can and will do what the job requires, but they first must be afforded the opportunity, as a person, as an individual, and their gained information and developed life skills, qualify them, It must not be disregarded nor ignored.
We demean people, and wonder why the spiritual self of people seem so battered.

We can see all over this city, many senior citizens who are extremely gracious people with a very mannered demeanor, and they are treated terribly, made to wait, and treated as if they are a non important part of the community. People - wake up and get this tv imagery out of your mind, of a media made up of 20-30 something, and the rest of the people are ignored as if they don't matter. What kind of people have we become ? Why are we controlled by the images the media depict as a basis of how we treat people? In this society, we see it all the time, and far too often, a pretty girl or a handsome man, is employed, simply because of how they look, and in some cases, they are not the best qualified person for the job, nor do they get the same scrutiny engaged when they come for employment. We see people hired, because they fit some movie image, or they stand over 6 ft tall, and these so called "All America" image that was pushed in the 1960's. We do not have a so called "All American Look"... !!! American's are of many looks, and many varieties of features within how American's as people look.

I've seen the smart white girl, who did not look spit and polished in media imagery, pushed back for certain jobs, where the white girl, who fits the made up imagery of the Media, and talk with the valley girl lingo, given a job, when the other girl, who did not sound like a valley girl singing phrases, or with the over emphasis on make up, and expensive hair do, was clearly more informed in the ability to do the jobs. This happens to black women, where there are some jobs given to the thin one, over the more heavy weight one, and the same thing done to men, both black and white, who fit some TV image, over a person who has the ability and sometimes the higher ability to do the jobs. but they don't look like some media imagery.

This is the stuff no one wants to talk about- but, As American People, we need to deal with people as individuals, respect people as persons, and be respectful of people without judging and placing people in positions based on how they appeal to us, as far as being some clone model of a media entertainer.

American is suffering because of this bias, discriminatory mindset that is engaged. and we damage more people in more ways, with this silliness. We have simply forgot how to respect people as individuals.

A Sun Tan looking white person is hired before the white person who does not have a tan, the light skin black person is hired before the dark skin black person, This kind of stuff is a sad reality in America, and does a great dis-service to individuals. I see some stores, they hire white manages, who may not be as sharp as the cashier, especially in some of these dollar stores, or one white manager, managing 10 black people, as if there is no black people qualified to manage 10 white people. We need to see people as people, and don't have the pre-set categories, we offer to one group as options, and a different pre set category we offer to another group as options.

People... THIS IS THE 21st CENTURY... and America is lagging in every category in both the business realm and the living standard is falling like a giant rock from a high cliff.. Until We become people, who simply respect each other, and work together with each other, we will continue to fall as a nation. We are being out performed by every nation we once called "third world".. we are being gouged for over pricing of everything. and now we have more methods of discriminating against people for personal "VAIN" reasons. And we disrespect people behind our own vain delusions.

The delusion of status, has become the diminishing of a nation and ostracizing of the Everyday American Citizen.

"Denied- Ignored - and Ultimately- treated Poorly"

How did we become so lost in the media imagery chase, we can't even respect each other in personal relationships, or invest in our community or support each other as neighbors.. all behind, who has the newest car, how much did it cost, and what place they eat dinner, and how much money they wasted on designer labels. The silliness of designer labels, that people don't grasp, its all 'MADE IN CHINA", and
On the street's of China, this same stuff people pay outrageous prices for, can be bought for little of nothing.

We build social delusion on things based on vanity, and we wonder why our social environment is in such shambles.
We wonder why we seem to remained stressed about everything, and satisfied with nothing.
We see families killing the whole family when their access to this vain status stuff is challenged or their economic conditions change.
We see people plotting to kill their own mate, to collect insurance, simply to chase a vain status illusion, We see relationships breaking up, because one expect the other to buy them status things, or take them to status places, it becomes so ingrained. They forget the simplicity of loving each other.

Will we change... Possibly Not...
Will we See the Vanity of our Ways - Probably Not..
Sadly we have people who go to Church every Sunday and some on Wednesday night too... and all the other days of the week, they condemn their neighbor or the people they encounter in public, with every kind of negative judgment imaginable.
Yet, they call themselves Christians.

What have we become in our own Cities, may tell us what we have become as a Nation,
and
It just might make us aware
of
what we have become as a people
and
a person.

We use to be a nations, which respected our elders, we use to be a nation, which had compassion for families when they faced challenges, and made them feel welcome and still a part of the community, We had a sense of Hope, We had a sense of faith and we had the decency of humanity to believe our efforts and the efforts of other's made a difference.

Why in this age of information, are we such a cut throat society, people will not assist, if one is seeking work, no one is willing to offer assistance, if families are living challenged, instead of us, trying to be morally supportive, we condemn them for what they don't have of trinkets and material status matter of material things. It's such a tragic reality, we teach it to kids, because they learn by what they see us as a people do, and they are ready to kill for material things, which next season won't even be an item of interest.

Are we barbaric people who only have a spoken manner, we use as a diversion, to act like a wolf who is dressed in sheep clothing, with an intent to deceive.

Did we just wittiness that demeanor on a Grand Scale .. to Watch and See "Bernie Madoff", destroy countless lives, and even loot and destroy Charities.
did it show us anything about how we have become as people, to see people so lost in a the worship of an image, they turned over the earned money, based solely on the image of the man, many even went begging, for him to take their money. Yet. none, thought to investigate, to verify, and pay attention, to the real nature of a turbulent stock market, which gave every indicator that no one man can outperform, what countless thousands work with daily, and they can't duplicate it, People even ignored, the people who raised the flag of awareness, and condemn the person who tried to present to them, information, and ask them "simply to investigate".. He was shunned, because the worship of the image of Madoff, was greater than the use of wisdom to simply investigate.
