what a world of contridictions

I don't say what the government should be limited to in the regard of what is a nation and what roles it plays in keeping a nation strong.. to say what it should not do, is not even consistent with the history of the nation. Government has funded growth since there was a government. both directly and collaterally. by as many means as mankind has ideas to create means.
We have just become a society that is filled with vengeful hate, and animosity by the dire absorption of vain measurements of self against others, that we prefer to deny any what we ourselves do not readily need. and yet, when our needs change, we find justification to seek and nearly demand help.. but otherwise raise heck about anyone getting any.. and that is the American Theme..
People are happy to help other nations, only because they feel superior to them, and helping feeds the ego or superiority more than the basic goodwill of mankind, because if it was basic.. there would be no borders in the will to help nor would one see borders.. We are a country that found much of its pathway to the claimed wealth of a nation - by and thru bigotry, that morphed itself thru slavery, segregation and present day, corporations that work people for little pay and no benefits, and then crash markets when they cannot get it done for nothing. This is the history of the nation, it calls it capitalism, but them try to toss it off as claims of itself as humanitarian and with goodwill, but only if it provides a tangible benefit.. of personal gain. Far more charity than people speak of is done for taxable benefit, as well as the choosing of where to contribute it. but this is not a society that is known for facing truths, it denies much, and claim no fault, in its denials.. and yet, does not change its core.. and now the surface shows a reflection of the core; Greed, robbed the nation and broke its economic backbone
