Change is a great thing when it's embraced.

WAKE UP PEOPLE... WAKE UP.. AND CHANGE .. YOU MAKE YOUR SITUATION BAD.. YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF MAKING YOUR NEIGHBORHOODS LOOK LIKE A GHETTO, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO INSULTS YOUR OWN COMMUNITY TO THE POINT THAT YOU WALK AROUND SCARED, AND ON DEFENSE, READY TO ATTACK YOUR own SHADOW.. AND IN THE WAKE OF SUCH, YOU HARM THE ELDERLY,

YOU MAKE THE KIDS SO AFRAID THEY CAN'T GAIN CONFIDENCE IN ANYTHING,

YOU EMBARRASS THE ELDERS WHO WORKED SO HARD FOR SO MANY YEARS AND TOOK SO MUCH ABUSE TO GET FREEDOM..

YOU INSULT IT WITH VIOLENCE, IGNORANCE AND INSULTS TO YOUR OWN APPEARANCE. AND THE LACK OF TRYING TO GET AN EDUCATION..
ROBBING AND KILLING EACH OTHER TO BUY DRUGS, OR FLASH BLING TO LOOK LIKE A BUFFOON WITH ***FOOLS GOLD AND CUBIC ZARCONIA..***

NOTHING BUT A PRETENTIOUS DELUSION.. THAT IS A BUNCH OF WORTHLESS JUNK..
AND YOU HAVE THE LACK OF DIGNITY THAT YOU KILL SOMEONE TO GET FOOLS GOLD.. AND TRINKETS THAT MEAN NOTHING.. YOUR SENSE OF VALUE IS DISTORTED.. AND YOU ARE DESTROYING A GENERATION OF PEOPLE, INSULTING THE ELDERS WHO ARE YOUR PARENTS AND GRAND PARENTS..NEIGHBORS AND THE MAKE UP OF YOUR COMMUNITY...

for the truth many of you don't want to face.. I will tell you.
NO.. it's not the white man as so many like to claim that hold you down ..

you hold yourself down by not presenting yourself and assimilating yourself to bring something to contribute..

As a people.. learn things, develop your talents, and began to realize that there is more than sports and rap music to exhibit talent.. and don't be so easily led by the silliness in the media and the imagery of madness in the video's.. don't be like sheep.. led and manipulated in any direction .. by chasing the image of idiotic bling consumption....

" get pissed off if that what you want to do.. but hopefully in your pissed off attitude.. you take the time to think "

stop embarrassing the community of black people nationwide.. Look about the world.. Blacks are at the bottom of the totem pole around the world.. it's time to stand up, get up , and step up.. and get out of the fools costumes.. and meet society with dignity.. mix within it with integrity, and be a part of it with respectfulness..

for all those who can't figure out how to fit into a social enviornment.. I will repeat..

*****stop embarrassing the community of black people nationwide.. Look about the world.. Blacks are at the bottom of the totem pole around the world.. it's time to stand up, get up , and step up.. and get out of the fools costumes.. and meet society with dignity.. mix within it with integrity, and be a part of it with respectfulness.. *******

it's a shame our senior citizen can't even take a walk in their own neighborhood.. and we got hoodlums talking about " My turf".. and they own nothing, but renting someone else property.. you have no turn becase you own nothing, and then you destroy the value of those who try to own something.. and turn it into a ghetto of destruction, drugs, mayhem and murder..

why would you park a $30,000 automobile with $10,000 of accessories .. in front of a $20,000 house.. and then claim that you can't afford to buy a home.. your sense of value is our of sync..

and in two years that car is worth nothing.. but the house would have gone up in value if you had bought it, respect it and respected the neighborhood it's in... can you see the picture ..

STOP EMBARRASSING THOSE OF US THAT TRY TO DO BETTER, BE BETTER AND WORK WITH SOCIETY OF PEOPLE AND WANT TO HAVE A SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD, WHERE HAPPY KIDS CAN PLAY AND THE ELDERS CAN WALK AND FEEL SAFE AND PROTECTED..

We as a black community must come to let go of a FAD.. the hip hop clothes.. and the sports attire.. has had it's day.. and it has put a stigma on not only the children but the young adults..

Not everyone will be nor is a rapper.. and surely not everyone is a sports player and nor do they need to emulate what they think is a sports player.. We as a society must re-groom ourselves..
Pull up our pants, don't show our underwear, and insure our clothes fit properly, that we don't look like a disproportionate individual. these fad mentality attire serves nothing but to bring individuals disrespect.. so much so, they are out killing each other talking about respect.. when the attire does not command nor warrant the respect an individual feels they may deserve..

People are afraid to tell the truth.. but I will.. the buffoon drama of the rapper style is not conducive to a positive enviornment.. nor the respectful presentation of an individual. and much of this .. clothes hanging off and the thug , gangster image .. is an embarrassment to those in the black community who care to assimilate into the business and professional enviornment of the the community.

why emulate the ghetto mentality and ghetto style that is so adverse to the social enviornment that is progressive. Why are kids buying 100$ tennis shoes that someone is China was paid maybe less than $1.50 in labor cost to produce.. and the sports players are raking in millions, off of people following the fad.. but not one of these millionaires are investing in your community, they have started no corporation that provide you jobs.. and you are not allowed to enter into their arena of life.. and they may or may not give you an autograph if you encounter them in a public place.. But you support the likes of the corporate name on the logo that use the sports player to .. manipulate you out of your money..
when half the children don't have a computer, and only relegate their time to a gaming console.. this is nothing but things that take many black people as a cultural group in a backward direction.. there are many ways you allow yourself to be enslaved.. until you can get wise and understand how not to be a slave.. how to become a contributor into social progress, not just a consumer and a destroyer trying to rip off what is not yours.. have enough respect about yourself.. that you have faith in yourself that you can ear what you want..instead of thinking so little of your self that you can't do it on your own so you steal from another.. that's an insult to yourself by yourself.. all it says is.. I'm not worth a darn so I will steal, I am not capable of doing anything so I will steal.. people who respect themselves do not steal.. nor do they kill.

Back to Image..
It is ok to rally for a sport player when you are watching the game or at the arena.. but why must you spend over priced cost to wear their jersey .. anywhere and everywhere. it robs them of public respectability.

the other element.. is the hooded attire in public social places.. In case you did not know it.. IT LOOKS CRIMINAL, there are times and places for the use of that attire.. many other will avoid and not engage individuals who do such and wear such in public.. they appear as a threat and it appears that they are seeking to hide in plain public view.. that is not the appropriate attire for shopping and various eateries. it convey negativity..

The silliness of a whole generation of people walking around in over-sized white tee shirts.. as if they are in a prison of self imposed slave uniform, they make themselves "out cast'.. there are places in Los Angeles, that have sign posted, " No white Tee Shirts allowed".. . It is very embarrassing for one to see so many blacks involved in the silly and pathetic crimes, destroying neighborhood with hoodlum activity, and parading around in an un-groomed manner, with clothes falling off, and not showing considerate care for proper grooming.. It's an insult to the whole of the black populating.. many people fought hard for the black population to get and be respected.. during the struggles of the 1960's.. and here we are 40 years past that time, and the youth are doing all they can to destroy that public respectability of visual presentation. and making our neighborhood.. an eye sore and people afraid to even consider driving past there.. They have no idea of the damage they do to destroy property values of their parents and some of them may even own homes and allow themselves and or their children to convey an appearance that reduces the equitable value of the property in the community.
Each thggish person who parades thru the neighborhood, trying to be a gangster, criminal, bully and buffoon of sort.. does nothing but destroy the community enviornment, show disrespect to the elders, and have no regard to present a positive image to the children.. Living the gang life as if they are looking for an EXPRESS TRAIN TO PRISION OR TO THE GRAVEYARD. it is far time that people wak up, stop killing each other over drugs, drug money and ego's worn on the shirt sleeve.. talking about respect.. if your respect is so fragile that it can't deal with someone looking at you.. then that only means that you have no respect in your self as yourself.. but in the fear that someone looking at you will see thru the simple natured silliness.. to see that you have no respect for anything or yourself. if you got to walk around like someone carrying a shield made of plastic..

the delusion of cool, the madness of thinking it's hip, and the craziness of delusion that one is bad. you only show your shallowness of respect and regard for life, people, your own family and yourself.

the pants below the waist.. that was started in Prison.. " that was one prisoner's way of advertising their want and desire to be engaged by another man as a sex partner.. it's a symbol of solicitation of homosexual motivations.. it is not fad and fashion.. that was attached to play upon the unsuspecting and the knowledgeable.. the additional element of the over-sized pants was started to conceal weapons.. by the gang element .. during the gun toting craze of the cocaine wars of the 1980's.. and here we are 20+ years later and black people are still caught into a cycle of fad.. unaware that it's time for change.

If you want life to progress and you want to be part of progress.. then you must change with progress. You need not try and find your respect through standing out like a peacock.. but standing up with dignity and integrity and enjoining in the knowledge and wisdom and realizing we live in the age of information.. which requires a learned mind.. and educated mind and one who pursue the education of process.

it's a new day.. will you live in yesterday through tomorrows.. of the days and years to come.

you need to see yourself to change yourself to be respected as yourself by first respecting yourself..

the time of change is NOW
