A challenge....... for progress

I would like to offer this as inspiration and maybe a positive idea for the residents and even the council person.. why not start a " Saturday Reading group in some of the minority ethnic region of your district"..

coordinate with the schools.. set up bus stop point.. for pick up.. and make this function..

let the school board tell you no.. and when they do ask them why?? if you get enough parents that push this agenda .. the school board can't say no.. becase you pay the taxes that support the school system.. if this is as it says a true democracy.. then you will get it.. "pressure people" put the pressure where you want the performance.. and you will get performance. make your council person push the measure .. people can change anything.. becase the system is set up to serve people..



Saturday can be a .. bilingual class offering, a reading class offering and a math class offering..

and it's not a matter of if your kids wants to go.. you run the house .. "THEY WILL GO" you see the regular school can't do the catch up work that's needed then institute Saturday school.. why is the building sitting there empty anyway.. when it can be utilized.. there are enough people who will gladly take a Saturday teaching job to do this and they don't need to be certified teachers.. the facility only need to have one two three or four certified teachers on this program and they can take rotating turns to cover this assignment program..

America has to change and if we don't change it.. don't sit back blaming the kids .. blame yourself.. it might just inspire the kids that they may want to add to this program with drama classes, art classes and other culture building things...

but it's time.. and actually it's so far past time that it's pathetic..

what's with this Saturday get up and go shopping.. we are a shop-a-holic society.. that is why the kids only know status and image crap...

think people.. think..

I see all these churches that such things can be done.. but they only think to just build more churches.. everywhere I go they are building more churches one across the street from the other and it only opens on Sundays.. and sit's there like a abandoned building all the rest of the time.. and it turns into nothing but a .. bring your money chapel.. so we can build another... and the ministers bounce from one to the next .. which ever one is offering the best pay for the least work.


let the church tell you .. you can't use their building for youth education programs.. I bet they don't have the nerve to tell you NO.. and if they do.. take it to the media and get the word out on them.. and I bet they will change their tune.

it's a damn shame you got to embarrass society into doing what it could do without being embarrassed.

it's enough churches that .. can be linked with the schools to register and sign these students up for these classes .. and with a bit of coordinated effort it can happen..


but it probably wont'.. becase again we are in a "do nothing" but, bitch and moan city of people... and our youth get dumber by the season.
